We've been blessed over the years to have what we think are some of the VERY best employees a business could ever hope to find. Many of them are actually high school or college students, as they seem to comprise ~99% of the applicants that apply to work at TWG. These amazing young people are truly sponges when it comes to absorbing all of the training that we throw at them when they first start to work here. Rest assured that, even though they might look like inexperienced water gardeners, they'll likely surprise you with just how much they'll be able to help you during your visit to Totalily. We've also been blessed with the fact that many of our employees choose to return year after year. Eventually though, a full-time year-round job comes along and we occasionally lose a valued employee. To keep you up-to-date on just who you might expect to see while you're here, we'd like to share a little bit of info - written in their own words - about each of our current team members.
I go to school in Spencer and I'm seventeen years old. I'm enjoying soccer for the first time at school and I hope to play soccer at college in a few years. My family and I have several large ponds and enjoy raising Koi in a few of them. I plan to work with plants and animals all my life. Jordan
My name is Jordan. This is my second year working at Totalily Water Gardens. I am currently finishing my senior year in high school. In the fall of this year, I will be attending Rochester Institute of Technology. Working at TWG has been an adventure and I have enjoyed it very much. Kurt
My name is Kurt. I've been an employee at TWG for 9 years. As an avid traveler, I like to see how water gardens are incorporated into landscapes around the world. My educational pursuits are eclectic at best, as I hold a degree in gunsmithing and will be attending school in the fall to start pursuing my Bachelors Degree in Architecture. Lisa
Hi - my name's Lisa. I'm currently a student at Broome Community College and I plan to major in Linguistics later on. This is my fifth year working at Totalily Water Gardens, though I had to take a year off to complete an exchange student program. Like my older brother Kurt, also a Totalily employee, traveling is a favorite pastime, as is working outdoors and learning more about water gardens. Samantha
I am currently a Senior at Candor High School and will be attending Broome Community College in the fall. This is my first year working at TWG and I am looking forward to this new experience. Tim
Many of you know me as the owner of TWG. It's been my pleasure to be a part of this wonderful team since it was first created back in 1997. I've truly enjoyed getting to know fellow water gardeners and I can only hope that I've helped many of you with your pond questions, whether they were related to design, maintenance, problem-solving, and/or upgrading. I credit my passion for water gardening to my father Phil (left side of photo) and my Great Uncle George (right side of photo) - both amazing men who taught me everything they knew and who encouraged me to pursue my dream of opening Totalily. PS - That's my nephew Brendan that I'm holding. |
